FAQ

Which Peppol identifier scheme should I use in North Macedonia?
Prefer an active national scheme listed below (e.g. MK:VAT / ICD 9942) when your organisation has that official identifier. Otherwise use an international scheme such as GLN (0088) or DUNS (0060) if your Access Point supports it.
What do I enter as the Peppol Participant ID?
Use either the short form ICD:value (e.g. 0183:CHE123456789) or the full form iso6523-actorid-upis::ICD:value. In registration UIs, select the scheme (ICD), then enter only the local value — not the scheme code again unless the scheme rules say otherwise.
Where do I get my company identifier?
Use the official North Macedonia registers linked on this page (business / tax / UID registers). For GLN, contact your national GS1 office. You can then look up or register the Peppol ID via tapr.ch.

Source: OpenPeppol Electronic Address / Participant identifier schemes code list v9.7. Only state=active entries are shown.

Where to get your codes

Look up the official national identifier first, then register it as a Peppol Participant ID with your Access Point (e.g. tapr.ch).
